Margarita Bayona Valenzuela, 79, of Booker, Texas passed away November 22, 2023 in Amarillo, Texas.  Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Booker, Texas, with services at 7:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Booker.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Booker, Texas.

Mrs. Valenzuela was born on November 17, 1944 in Canatlan, Durango, Mexico.  She married her husband Guadalupe Herrera, and they had one son.  She loved reading her Bible.

Mrs. Valenzuela is survived by her son, Miguel Angel Pichado Bayona of Mexico; her grandson Jackson Bayona of Perryton, Texas; one brother, Juan Bayona of Booker, Texas; two nieces, Luz Mortha Bayona and Yanin D. Bayona, both of Booker, Texas; and four nephews, Juan C. Bayona, Juan Alvarado, Miguel Ortiz, and Sahid Alvarado, all of Booker, Texas.
