Maria Dominguez Loya, 71, of Perryton, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Perryton, Texas.  A funeral mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, Texas with Father Cesar Gomez officiating.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Viewing/Visitation will be Thursday (3/24/22) from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Friday (3/25/22) from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Perryton. Rosary will be held Friday (3/25/22) at 6:00 p.m. with a vigil to follow at 6:30 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton, Texas.

Maria Dominguez Loya was born on August 15, 1950 in Valentin Gomez Farias, Mexico, to Ramon Dominguez and Guadalupe Loya.  She attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, Texas.

She is survived by her son, Jose Serrano of Brush, Colorado; daughters, Elizabeth Serrano of Laverne, Oklahoma, Claudia Martinez of Laverne, Oklahoma, Minerva Martinez of Laverne, Oklahoma, Brenda Villa of Perryton, Texas, Mayra Martinez of Perryton, Texas, and Yajaira Gutierrez of Perryton, Texas; twenty-seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Baldomero Martinez; her parents; two grandchildren; a sister and a brother.
