Maria Guadalupe Montano, 78, of Booker, Texas passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in Booker, surrounded by her family.  No services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Ms. Montano was born on December 29, 1945 in Rosamorada, Nayarit, Mexico to Reyes Montano and Carmen Lopez.

Ms. Montano is survived by her mother, Carmen Martinez; three sons, Francisco Solorio and wife Alma of Booker, Texas, Daniel Solorio of Mexico, and Anarbo Solorio, Jr. and wife Cachita, also of Mexico;  three grandchildren, Alan Solorio and Anabi Fernanda, both of Mexico, and Frank Solorio of Liberal, Kansas; one great-granddaughter, Noehly Isabella Solorio of Booker, Texas; one sister, Lydia Martinez of El Centro, California; and one brother, Ezequiel Martinez and wife Amelia, also of El Centro, California.
