Marlene D. Hernandez, 63, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Perryton, Tx. Services will be scheduled at a later time. Cremation is under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Marlene was born April 14, 1958 in La Junta, Co to Arthur and Faye Castro Herrera. She married Steve Hernandez on December 31, 1975 in Pueblo, Co. They moved to Perryton in 1981. She loved gambling and the Denver Broncos. She was always smiling and laughing and would brighten any room. She was dearly loved by many.

She is survived by her husband, Steve, of the home; daughters, Sharon Hernandez of Pueblo, Co and Mandi and Harold Rudolph of Colorado City, Co; sons, Jamie Herrera of Pueblo, Co and Steve T. and Judy Hernandez of Perryton, Tx;  father, Arthur Herrera of California; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Faye.
