Mary Floydean Gatlin, 93, of Spearman, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021.  A memorial service will be held on May 8, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at the First Christian Church in Spearman with Pastor David Theel officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Mary was born in Spearman, Texas on October 18, 1927 to Floyd Otto Crawford and Marie Lucille May Crawford. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Perryton, Texas.  She graduated from West Texas State in Canyon, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Education. Mary lived in Las Vegas, NV. and Scotland but most of her time was spent in Spearman.  She had excellent clerical skills and worked at the Amarillo Air Force Base and later at the Spearman Senior Citizen Center. She moved into Hansford Manor in 2016.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister, "Sweet Pea" Frances Crawford, and brother, Jimmie Crawford.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzy Gatlin of Spearman, TX;  son, Jeff Gatlin and wife, Becca, of San Antonio, TX.; granddaughter, Maegan Gatlin of San Antonio, TX.; grandson, Austin Gatlin of Australia; and brother, John D. Crawford and wife, Claudine, of Spearman.
