Mary Beth Harper 84, of Spearman passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. There are no services at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.

Mary Beth was born on May 3, 1940 to Oaks Ames Scroggs and Opal Faus Scroggs in Hansford County Texas.  She enjoyed collecting glassware, thrifting and gardening.  She also enjoyed antiquing. She worked as a secretary and later a caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Douglas Wayne Harper and 9 brothers and sisters.

Mary Beth is survived by her daughter Linda Colvin and sisters, Colleen Neal, Sharon Johnson, Zada Cooper and Peggy Mitchell.  She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
