Mary Lou Smalley, 59, of Perryton, Texas passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 in Perryton.  A memorial service will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Perryton, at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2025, officiated by Wes Stevens.  Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Mrs. Smalley was born on December 18, 1965 in Durant, Oklahoma to Willie Smalley and Wanda Sue Brooks.  She was homemaker, a loving mother, and she loved her family.  She liked to color and liked being the center of attention.  She loved her dogs, and she was loved by many.  She was funny and outgoing, adventurous, and she bravely fought cancer for three years.

Mrs. Smalley is survived by two sons, Marquis Smalley and Jamie Kesterson, both of Perryton, Texas; three sisters, Janice Marquez of Clarendon, Texas, Teresa Villnave of Perryton, Texas, and Shirley Brooks, also of Perryton; one brother, Jimmy Brooks of Tyrone, Oklahoma; her step-dad, David Brooks of Perryton, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mrs. Smalley was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David Brooks; and one daughter, Crystal Smalley.
