Mary Fern Terry, 99, passed away on March 18, 2021 in Spearman.   A private family graveside service will be held at Holt Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the directions of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Mary Fern was born on February 1, 1922 in Rural Hutchinson County, Texas to WH Terry and Lucy Lackey Terry.  She was a bookkeeper for R.L. McClellan and Son's and Ralph Blodgett for many years.   Mary Fern was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Spearman.  She was a very sweet lady that was loved by all of those who knew her.

The family wishes to express their special thanks to the staff of Hansford Manor.

Mary Fern was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Harlan Terry.

She is survived by her sister, Estelle Jackson, of Spearman, nephew, Jim Jackson  and wife, Frances, of Amarillo, TX., nieces, Ann Burch and husband, Dave, of Aurora CO., Kay Wade and husband, Dan, of Boquete, Panama, and Harlene Mercy and husband, Bill, of Frisco, TX.  She is also survived by numerous grand nieces and nephews.

Family suggests memorials in memory of Mary Fern be to Station Masters Museum in Spearman.
