Mary Elizabeth Wright, 89, longtime resident of Gruver passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Gruver Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., with Rev.  Steve Chappell officiating.

Mary was born on November 1, 1930, to Otto George Smith and Gladys Nichols Smith in Mc Phearson, KS.   She was a homemaker and had worked at the EL Vaquero in Gruver.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Gruver.  Mary and Ervin Wright were married on August 11, 1947 in Medicine Lodge KS.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 sisters and a brother.

She is survived by daughters Eileen Wright of Amarillo and Tamara Greene and husband Richard of Gruver.  Mary is also survived by several  nieces and nephews.

Family suggests memorials be to ones favorite charity.
