Mary Lou Wysong , 88,  of Spearman passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  Memorial   Services will be on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Spearman at 1:00 p.m. with  Rev. John Scott.   There will be a private family burial.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Mary Lou was born on April 10, 1931 in Higgins, Texas, to Jesse Davis and Dorothy White Davis.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Spearman.   She married Sam Wysong  September 6, 1949 in Perryton, Texas.  She was  Chamber of Commerce Manager of Spearman for 21 years and received Citizen of the Year in 1984,  1975 Woman of the Year,  1973 Rotary Club Employee of the Year, and 1985 Texas Panhandle Distinguished  Woman Award.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Gary Wysong, grandson Dylan Bucy, and longtime special friend, Ernest Stone.

She is survived by daughters,  Pam and husband Larry Eckroat of Azle, TX., and Kay Kelso of Round Rock, Texas and Jan and husband Mike Mauney of Clinton OK., a sister Delia Sampson of Roan Mountain, TN.  She is also survived by one grandson, Brian Bucy and five granddaughters, Micah  Abbananto, Lauren Williams, Rachel Cavin, Samantha Wilkerson and Halee  O'Dell  and 11 great-grandchildren.

Family suggests memorials be to Hansford Manor or Hansford Hospice 707 S. Roland, Spearman, TX. 79081  or ones favorite charity.
