Mitch Smith, 67, of Perryton, Texas passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Perryton.  Viewing will be at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton, Texas Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Monday, August 25, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, Texas.  Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Texas.

Mitch was born on October 12, 1957 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Darrell Deane Smith and Julia Belle Kelley Smith.  He married his wife, Linda Smith, in Perryton, Texas on September 29, 1996, and he worked in the oilfield.

Mitch is survived by his wife, Linda; one son, Ty Smith of Perryton, Texas; four daughters, Keyley Smith of Perryton, Texas, Merydeth McBride and Miranda Warner, both of Amarillo, Texas, and Mallory Farais of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Michael Smith of Ashland, Kansas and Tony Smith of Norman, Oklahoma; two sisters, Debbie Thomas and Lagina, both of Arkansas; and twelve grandchildren.

Mitch was preceded in death by his parents.
