Patsy Ruth Carter Lamberson, 89, of Perryton, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Booker, Texas.  Viewing will be Sunday, December 31, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Monday, January 1, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, Texas, officiated by Rev. Duce Cooper.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery, Perryton, Texas.

Mrs. Lamberson was born on July 26, 1934 in Atoka County, Oklahoma, to Onis Carter and Sally Swindell.  She married her husband Jimmie D. Lamberson on January 31, 1952 in Hedley, Texas.  She was a member of Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, Texas.  She was a loan officer, and she loved to quilt and crochet, and she volunteered at Wright Elementary for awhile.

Mrs. Lamberson is survived by one son, Richard Lamberson and wife Michelle of Highland Ranch, Colorado; two daughters, Peggy Dunn and husband Mark of Booker, Texas, and Rebecca Lamberson and husband Todd Bothwell of Parker, Colorado; two sisters, Wilma Pitman of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Rachel McAdoo of Robert Lee, Texas; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Lamberson was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lamberson; her parents; one brother, T.J. Carter; and one sister, Lois Johnson.
