Raymond Carl Brittain, 72, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Perryton, Texas, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 in San Antonio.  A graveside service will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Texas.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Raymond was born on September 13, 1951 in Borger, Texas to Lucille Balch and William Brittain.  His family moved to Perryton, Texas when Raymond was five years old.  He graduated from Perryton High School, and he worked for Perryton Equity for many years.  Raymond had two great loves in his life, the First Baptist Church and his Perryton Rangers.  He spent many hours at both places.

Raymond is survived by his brother, Bill Brittain and wife Donna of Mont Belvieu, Texas; nephews Brett Brittain and wife Katy of Mont Belvieu, Texas, and Scott Pittman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; nieces McKenzie Brittain of Richmond, Texas, Krista Dueitt and husband Robbie of The Woodlands, Texas; six great nephews; and three great nieces.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father William Brittain when Raymond was only nine years old; his mother, Lucille McDonald; his stepfather, Henry McDonald; and one sister, Ann Marecle.
