Rebecca "Becky" Sue Newberry went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 3, 2022. There will be a memorial service held at a later date due to the pandemic. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.

Becky was born to Johnnie Athan "Red" Harkins and Zora Bryan Isaacs Harkins on March 25, 1952. She married the love of her life Robert "Bob" Newberry on February 13, 1978. She was a wonderful wife, a cherished Mother, friend and homemaker. In addition to all this Becky had a nursing career that she was very passionate about for 40 yrs. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Perryton and she loved her church family dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 44 years, Bob Newberry of Perryton, TX; daughter, Mariah Newberry of Perryton, TX; sons, Christopher Newberry and wife Samantha of Mesa, AZ, Rob Newberry and Tracy Stone of Amarillo, TX. Two grandchildren Cierra Newberry and Ryan Newberry both of Mesa, AZ. She also leaves behind many very special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Along with many more family members and very close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and her father and mother in law.
