Rhonda Day, a woman of profound warmth, boundless generosity, and unwavering love, passed away leaving behind a legacy of care and devotion.
Rhonda dedicated her life to the service of others, possessing a rare and beautiful gift for caretaking. For many years, she provided comfort, dignity, and companionship to the elderly. Later in life, she transitioned her talents to working with special needs children. Her patience, kindness, and infectious warmth made her a favorite among the children she worked with, all of whom loved her dearly. Rhonda didn't just work in caregiving; she lived it.
While her impact on her community was vast, Rhonda’s true heart belonged to her family. She was a deeply devoted wife and a loving mother, always providing a safe, nurturing, and joyful home.
But of all the titles Rhonda held throughout her beautiful life, her absolute favorite—and the one she wore with the greatest pride—was Nana to Emery. Emery was the light of her life, and the bond they shared was nothing short of magical.
Rhonda’s legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of her son and her beloved grandchild Emery, and the countless lives she touched and transformed through her work.
Rhonda is survived by her one son, Phillip Day and wife Rebecca of Perryton, Texas; one granddaughter, Emery Day of Perryton, Texas; Sisters, Donna Lane of Moore, Oklahoma, Pat McDaniels of Tuttle, Oklahoma; brothers, Tim Hargues and Jerry Hargues both of Perryton, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
