Rodney "Goose" Farber, 73, of Spearman passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Viewing will be at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman on Tuesday, September, 21 ^st and  Wednesday ,  September 22 ^nd , from 9:00a.m. until  9:00p.m.   Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, 10:00a.m. at the Gruver United Methodist in Gruver,  with Rev. Steve Chappell officiating.  Burial will follow in Clayton, NM.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.

Rodney was born on August 19, 1948 in Albuquerque, NM.  He was adopted at 3 days old ,by Arthur and Margaret Farber.  He was raised on a small Ranch, 29 miles west of Clayton, New Mexico.  After graduating from Clayton High School he then attended college  at Panhandle State in Goodwell, OK. Rodney and Sharon Sue Cook were married on June 10, 1986 in Spearman.    He enjoyed being   a cow hauler, and owned his own truck "Matilda".  He loved driving his truck and meeting other drivers.   Rodney was a "Ledgend" and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Sharon of Spearman, two daughters, Haley and husband, Cory Logan of Carrolton, TX., and Cindy Humphrey of Wichita Falls, TX., a son, Rod Jr.  He is also survived by two sisters, Carol Jarman and Frances Whittaker, brother, AlanJones and 6 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials in memory of Rodney be to Alzheimer's or your choice of charity.
