Braiden Vernor officiating.  Burial will be in Canadian, TX at Edith Ford Cemetary following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Roy was born on March 13, 1936 in Shattuck, OK. to Gilman Flowers and Lois King Flowers. Roy and Ann Bennett were married on August 5, 1960.  He graduated from Canadian High School in 1954 and attended Texas Tech University. Roy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spearman.

Roy farmed and ran cattle in Ochiltree County from 1955 until retiring in 2010. He loved farming, ranching and working with his cattle. He had a very special dog named Charlie that was his faithful companion for many years.  Roy and Ann played in many couples Bridge and Forty-Two clubs over the years, but he mostly enjoyed the fellowship with the other men. Roy was a very kind and caring man.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He loved his family dearly and they loved him so very much.  He was able to be at home the past two years, because of his twins, Jane and Jan, who were very blessed to help care for him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Sandra Green, Pat Schaef and brothers, Wayne Flowers, and Joe Flowers.

He is survived by his wife, Ann of the home, three daughters, Beth Flowers and husband Rob Woelfel of Spring, TX., Jane and husband Louie Lincoln of Amarillo, TX. and Jan Blackwell and Danny White of Wichita, KS.  He is also survived by grandchildren, Chassitil Blackwell, Justin Pinkston and wife Lauren, Stephen Blackwell, Jessica Thomas, Carli Pinkston and husband Samual Garcia, great-grandchildren, Annyston, Madison, Conner, Rosalie, Isabel, Bennett, and another on the way. Roy is also survived by his four sisters, Francis Newell, of Canadian, Zella Meeks and husband Bob of Amarillo, Vickie Bolin, and husband Bob of Chandler, TX, and Dixie Cook and husband George of Canadian, and many nieces and nephews.
