Roy Kerns, 88, of Booker, Tx passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. A memorial service scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Roy was born on December 30, 1932 to William and Virgie (Cherry) Kerns in Beaver County, Oklahoma. He married Freda Follis on May 27, 1956.

He is survived by his wife, Freda, of the home; son, Ken Kerns of Eufaula, Oklahoma; daughters, Kemberly Balzer of Austin, Texas and Kayla Bechthold of Booker, Texas; grandchildren, Jamie Kerns, Kevin Kerns, Brent McDaniel, Bo McDaniel, Kristin Balzer, Brice Haines, Brook Trenkle, and Paige Bechthold; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
