Saul Flores Salgado, 86, of Perryton, Texas passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 in Mexico. Viewing will be Monday, August 3, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton, Texas, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Iglesia La Pena de Horeb in Perryton, Texas. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Saul was born on September 23, 1939 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Elias Flores Cano and Teresa Salgado Flores. Saul married his wife, Evelia Flores, the mother of his children, in Mexico on September 23, 1957. He was a member of the Iglesia La Pena de Horeb church in Perryton and was active in the church. He was a responsible father and loved life! He was very well loved by all who knew him. He married his current wife, Francisca Flores, later in life.

Saul is survived by two sons, Adolfo Flores of Perryton, Texas, and Ismael Flores of Dallas, Texas; four daughters, Loyda Flores and Aida Flores, both of Perryton, Texas, Aracely Mitchum of Dallas, Texas, and Elia Greenway of Perryton, Texas; his wife Francisca Flores of Perryton, Texas; two sisters, Noeni Flores Franco and Concha Flores Arenivar; two brothers, Daniel Flores Salgado and Salomon Flores Salgado; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Saul was preceded in death by his first wife of 62 years, Evelia Flores; his parents; one son, Otoniel Flores; and one daughter, Juana Miriam Simmons.
