Scott Lane Swan, 53, of Spearman, passed away at his home, in Spearman with his loving family by his side after battling cancer.  Viewing will be on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 2:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. and Sunday, May 21, 2023 1:00p.m. until 9:00p.m., family visitation 5:00-7:00 on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.  Funeral services will be at the Church of Christ in Spearman on Monday, May 22, 2023,1:00p.m. with Pastor John Scott officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Scott was born in Perryton, Texas on April 28, 1970 to Ronald Swan and Elaine Longley Swan. He was a heavy equipment operator for Hansford County. Scott could fix anything and he gave the best hugs. He was a man of his words.  He was a loving father, great son, unka, brother and amazing husband. Scott loved all of his kids, loved being a grumps and a loving brother.  Scott loved his fur babies, Scotty and Louie.  He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Swan and sister Leslie Swan.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Swan; father, Ronald Swan;  daughters, Emma Kelsey, Christy (Rob) DeMoss; sons, Hunter Flowers and Jace (Hayley) Lang-Swan; sisters, Stacie (Tammy) Swan, Leann Swan, and Ashley Swan; brothers, Jarret  Swan and Jeff Swan; six grandchildren, Stetson, Reagan, Jackson, Piper, Oliver and Nolan.  He is also survived by his niece, Lainey and life long friend, Jeanne Swan.

Family suggests memorials in memory of Scott be to the American Cancer Society.
