Sharon Evans, 74, of Perryton, Texas passed away on January 26, 2024, in Perryton Texas.  No services have been planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Ms. Evans was born on June 11, 1949, in Olney, Texas to George and Rose Brock.

Ms. Evans spent her early years working in the family business at Brocks Furniture.  The later half of her life she spent working at Bealls Department Store.  She always had a plastic swan, named, "Ms. Swan" that was sitting outside and decorated with flowers for whatever holiday was current. Also, one of her greatest achievements was climbing up a waterfall in Jamaica.  She said, "I can't believe I made it."  You would also never see her without her makeup on and her hair styled, even when doing the yard work, which she loved doing so much. She always wore neon colors, and neon pink was her favorite. She was always willing to help others, whether that was a kind word, a compliment, or making life easier for someone. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt who will be missed dearly.

Ms. Evans is survived by her son, Joey Evans and wife Kristi Evans of Somerville Texas; brother Wayland Brock and wife Lynne Brock of Perryton, Texas; two nieces Katina Eisenman of Perryton and Kandace Willis and boyfriend Arien Smith of Amarillo; one grandson Riley Evans of Somerville Texas; 4 great nephews and a niece, Kristopher, Kaitlyn, Kaiden, Brock, and numerous friends.

Ms. Evans was preceded in death by her father George Brock and mother Rose Brock.

The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
