Trula Shults, 76, of Perryton, Tx passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley, Tx. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funerals Home of Perryton. The funeral home in Perryton will be open for viewing/visitation on Saturday (1/2/21) from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Sunday (1/3/21) from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Services will be broadcast live on Boxwell Brothers Facebook page for those who wish to watch. Trula Gene Putman was born in Clarendon, Tx to Lois and Willie (Barbee) Putman. She married James Shults on October 1, 1960 in Clarendon. They moved to Perryton in 1993 from Camp, Co.

She is survived by her son Danny Shults of Gruver, Tx; two daughters, Lynda Capps of Perryton, Tx and Kimberly Guymon of Elk City, Ok; two sisters, Ola Mae Ladnier of Mobile, Al and Brenda Gay Usrey of Logan, NM; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Trula was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Willie Putman; her husband, James; her grandson, Jeremy Tunnell and her brother, Wright Putman.
