Ty Kent Williams, 57, of Gruver, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020.   Graveside Services will be at the Gruver Cemetery on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 3:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Rev. Scott Curry, assisted by Trevor Williams and Mike Grotegut.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited. Ty was born on September 6, 1963 to Jerry Williams and Rita (Henderson) Williams in Spearman, Texas. He married Paula Kay Hargrove on November 27, 1987 in Perryton, Texas. Ty was a man of God, who loved his family. They were everything to him. He had a passion for raising show steers with his two sons and his dad.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Kay Williams of  Gruver, Texas; two sons, Tucker Williams and wife, Crystal of Gruver, Texas; Taylor Williams of Gruver, Texas; parents, Jerry and Rita Williams of Gruver, Texas; brothers, Todd Williams and wife, Janet of Gruver, Texas; Trevor Williams and wife, Cynthia of Amarillo, Texas; granddaughters Mili Williams and Maelee Williams (expected in February); and several nieces and nephews.
