Valerie Sharon Shields, 63, of Spearman passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.  A memorial service will be on Monday November 7, 2022 at 2:00p.m. at the Hansford Cemetery.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers of Spearman.

Valerie was born on July 29, 1959 to Wayne Alvin Ellsworth and Beatrice Pester Ellsworth in Spearman, Texas.  She was a life time resident of Spearman.  Rob Shields and Valerie were married on April 28, 1979 in Spearman.  She loved her fur babies and R.V. camping.  Valerie was secretary/treasurer of Hansford Gun Club and worked at the Brock Insurance Agency.

She was preceded in death by her parent and brother, Ricky Ellsworth.

Valerie is survived by her husband Rob of Spearman, sister, Barbara Glover and husband L.R. of Woodward, OK., nephew, Anthony Glover of Woodward, OK. and  aunt, Carol Tucker of Fairview, OK.

Family suggests memorials in memory of Valerie be to the Mutt Hut Rescue.
