Veda "Cleo" Cotter, 93, a longtime resident of Spearman, Texas, passed away peacefully with her great nephew, Josh and his partner Robbin, by her side on October 19, 2024.

Cleo was born on November 7, 1930 in Vinson, OK to William & Hulda (Gilson) Thompson. She was the youngest of nine children. She married Wyatt Adkins in January of 1948 in Childress, Texas. Later they moved to Spearman TX where she was a beautician for many years and always had an eye for fashion. Wyatt passed in 1972, and she remarried in October of 1973 to Omar Cotter. They had a ranch West of Spearman and were together until he passed in 2002.

Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, her first husband Wyatt Adkins, her infant daughter Lee Annette, and her late husband Omar Cotter.

In honor of her final wishes there will be no memorial or graveside services. Her ashes will be buried at Hansford Cemetery at a later date. She loved her family and considered them her "Celebration of Life."
