Vicki Wingfield Bryson, 74, of Gruver, Texas passed away on January 16, 2024 in Spearman, Texas.  No services have been planned at this time.  Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Mrs. Bryson was born on October 24, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Robert Lee Wingfield, Sr. and Eileen Murphy Wingfield.  She studied at Texas Tech University and later became a paralegal.

Mrs. Bryson spent nearly 30 years with the love of her life, the late Bill Bryson and, following the tradition of her mother and grandmother, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Mrs. Bryson is survived by three sisters, Susan Olsen and husband Alan of Winnsboro, Texas, Elizabeth Hutchinson and husband Cliff of Dallas, Texas, and Amy Nelson and Ronnie James, also of Dallas, Texas; and three brothers, Robert Wingfield, Jr. and wife Lety, of Dallas, Texas, John Wingfield and wife Debbie of Dallas, Texas, and Wade Wingfield of Corrales, New Mexico.  She also leaves behind her beloved Scottish Terrier, Lady Faye.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to "Wreaths Across America", a project in which she took great pride and joy.
