Zack Cain, 94, of Perryton, Texas passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, in Perryton, Texas. Graveside service is scheduled for 10:30 A.M. on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Ochiltree Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton, Texas.

Zack was born on January 3, 1927, to Homer Cain and Cordelia (Mcafee) Cain in Tyrone, Oklahoma. He married Evelyn Ball on November 19, 1949, in Liberal, Kansas.

Zack loved hunting and fishing. He has gone to Canada and the Arctic Circle to hunt and fish. In high school, he had a job to earn money to take flight lessons. Zack was enlisted in the Army to fly planes but had to operate a tank.

Zack is survived by his daughter, Lynda Marie "Cain" Cabell of Borrne, Texas; son, Tracy Zack Cain of Pampa, Texas; grandchildren, Jodi "Nalley" Chisum, Rene "Nalley" Thornton, Kristen Cabell, Dylan Cain, Michael Cabell, Zachary Cain, and Samuel Cain. He also had nine great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, his daughter Cindy, and his parents.
